This has really motivated me this week to stick with my exercise routine! Thanks for letting me join. I even went to the gyn this morning at 7am (yes on a Saturday). Have a good weekend! Beth
A group of us came together with this strange idea that exercise is a good thing and we all needed to do it. This came about during the holidays, when the food is fatening and the motivation to exercise is weak. It was decided if we were going to make exercise a weekly habit, that four times each week is a minimum in order to lose or maintain a desired weight. And the prime motivator was, of course, coffee! We hope to keep our particpants going with support and caffine through the word of the blog. We invite others to join us in our bizare but noble cause!
If anyone doesn't make four workouts in a week, that person(s) owes one coffee card ($3.50) up to the monthly"kitty". For each week any of us makes all four work-outs will get a "ticket". After four weeks, if there is any coffee cards in the kitty, we will have a drawing. So if you work out 4 days a week for 4 weeks you would have 4 chances to win ALL the coffee cards. If you make it only 3 weeks, you would have 3 chances to win and so on. There may or may not be any coffee cards in the "Kitty" to be won, but it sure would be a great"prize" if there were multiple coffee cards. This way we can have as many members in our "Exercise For Coffee" club or"EFC". Shannon will write our names on tickets, then we report in to each other on the blog. An impartial person will pick the winning ticket. Who ever owes coffeecards can then send them to the winner each month. We will exchange email and mailing address off the blog for confidentiality reasons.
Good Job Beth! I just have one more for this week!
